Mr. Sulav Agarwal is Vice Chairman of Shanker Group of Industries and Trading House, one of the leading business houses in Nepal. In 2000, he joined his family business and has been handling it ever since then. Over the previous two decade, he has established and guided the group as one of the largest business houses in Nepal.
He has played a vital role to grow family business and turning the group into a leading business house in Nepal.
He is the Chairperson of different companies from various sectors, some of them being, Union Life Insurance Company Ltd, which is one of the top five life insurance companies in Nepal, Shaurya Cement Industries Pvt. Ltd, which is also one of the Nepal’s largest cement industries, Jagdamba Holdings Pvt. Ltd. which is a principal investment holding companies to name the few. He is also Managing Director of Riddhi Siddhi Cements Pvt. Ltd and promoter in many BFIs, including Himalayan Reinsurance Ltd, one of the two reinsurance companies and promoters of Shanker companies in Nepal.
He is former Vice President of CNI (Confederation of Nepalese Industries). He is one of the founding members of Plast Nepal Foundation and a member in Nepal Cement Manufacturers Association and Nepal Flour Mills Association.
